Our Babymoon: Miami Beach Edition Review + Outfit Links

JT and I spent 3 days at the luxurious Miami Beach Edition for our babymoon and it was just what we needed. I was about 30 weeks pregnant which I think is the perfect time to plan a babymoon trip. I was feeling great and I didn't feel like I was too big where it was uncomfortable to move around (like i'm currently feeling and have been since 36 weeks). Miami may not seem like a typical babymoon spot, but I surprisingly saw a lot of pregnant women while staying there. The only downside to the property, for a pregnant girl, were the lounge chairs at the pool. They're wooden and didn't have legs, so they sat right on the ground which made them difficult to get up from. The beach chairs were much more comfortable! Other than that I have no complaints about our stay. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, the rooms were chic and comfortable, and I loved being right on the beach.

On our first night we ate dinner at the Matador Room in the hotel and enjoyed the ambiance, but were not overly impressed by the food. We ordered a few dishes to split. The potatoes, broccolini, and the short rib + chicken tacos. They were good, but just not over the top good. Our waiter ended up bringing us a slice of their Tres leches cake on the house (it was delicious) because the chef likes to treat expecting mothers. So sweet! We also ordered their cookie plate to go and they were so yummy!

The first two mornings we had breakfast at the Market in the lobby. The first morning we just ordered coffee and pastries and ate them by the pool and the second morning we sat down for brunch and I had the best french toast I've had in a while! Highly recommend trying it!

For lunch we ate at the beach every day and loved everything we ordered. We got the sesame chicken bites, the hummus plate, fish tacos, and the chicken sandwich. 10/10 on everything.

I also booked myself a prenatal massage at the spa in the hotel and it was incredible. If you're pregnant you must go get one. It truly was the most comfortable and relaxed I've felt in the last 9 months. The spa at the Edition is stunning too! Totally worth it.

Other places we ate:

Watr at The 1 Rooftop- LOVED our food here + the view. The brussels sprouts are a must.

Insomnia Cookies- We ordered these on uber eats one night. The best cookies ever.

Moon Bowls- another uber eats delivery. We really liked the Korean Chicken Bowls and they were buy 1 get 1 free.

Eggstaurant- our final uber eats delivery on our last morning. This place was really good. It's hard to mess up breakfast, but I got the Wafflegg + Bacon. My mouth is watering right now just thinking about how good the waffle was. It was crunchy and sweet and wow. I need to go back. If you're in Miami order this place for breakfast!!

Below I've linked everything I wore on our trip. If you have any questions feel free to send me a message on Instagram!
