2018 New Years Resolutions
Oh what a year its been...from starting my blog, getting engaged to my best friend, traveling and experiencing new things with my fiance + old friends, this year has been one for the books and definitely one of the most exciting years of my life. I am so thankful for all that 2017 has brought me and I am SO looking forward to more exciting times ahead.
That being said...it's that time of year again...new years resolutions are something everyone hears about, some choose to set goals, some roll their eyes and don't care. I can relate to both because before 2015 I was the one rolling my eyes. Now that I am out of college and trying to live a healthier life, this is the perfect time for me to set goals and make plans for the year ahead. Keep scrolling for a highlight reel of my favorite photos from 2017 followed by my 8 new years resolutions for 2018. Enjoy!

New Years Eve 2017
2018 New Years Resolutions
1. Drink more water. Something I struggle with every day. I love water more than any beverage, yes even mimosas, but I cant seem to EVER drink the proper amount every day, especially when I'm at work. I recently downloaded the app My Water Balance to help remind me to drink water throughout the day.
2. Exercise 3 times a week + stick with it. I know, I know. How boring? but really this is something else I struggle with each year. I always start off strong, working out 3x a week + I feel great, but come June I always fall off and slowly stop working out and eating right. I really want to stick with it this year - especially since I will be getting married in May 2019!
3. Save more money. Something everyone says they are going to do but it never ends up happening...but with our wedding coming up and my desire to go on an extravagant honeymoon (Europe or Asia), this NEEDS to happen lol.
4. Get a credit card. Oh how fitting right after my save more money resolution...lol whatever, I still don't have my own credit card and I feel it's important that I start to build my credit before JT and I decided to buy a house together. I am also looking into getting the Southwest credit card after buying so many plane tickets this past year, it could definitely help me save money if I'm smart about it, which I will be!
5. Plan my wedding. So many contradicting resolutions, how will I save money while trying to plan a wedding? Who knows, but I'll figure it out I hope! We are so close to setting a date + location, so hopefully things will really get moving after that. But like I said earlier, we are planning for May 2019 so we have some time.
6. Grow my Rodan + Fields business. My passion for skincare has grown over the years, especially since becoming a R+F Consultant. I love helping others find the right skincare and I hope to continue to do so even more in the new year!
7. Publish a blog post once a week. I need something to hold me accountable. I know that consistency is key so I want to keep the blog posts coming. I have been brainstorming ideas, but it's always nice to hear what other think. Comment below some of your blog post ideas for me!
8. Connect with other bloggers. Some may not believe it but, I am SO shy, but I dont seem like it when I am around people I am comfortable with, I'd love to break out of my comfort zone and meet local bloggers.
If you're reading this, thank you! I'd love to hear your thoughts on my blog posts and any ideas for future blog posts, so please feel free to leave a comment below!
Happy New Year!
