Do's and Dont's in New Orleans

Do: Go to Cafe du Monde. It most likely will be busy but the beignet's are worth the short wait for an open table, I promise you.

Don't: Spend all your time on Bourbon Street. It's fun, but a little sloppy as you can imagine.

Do: Visit Frenchman's Street. It's beautiful and has some of the best music bars.

Don't: Go into Washington Square at night. You might see a man walking around with a very large crack pipe....

Do: Go on a walking tour. We did a haunted pub crawl (I love creepy stuff lol) It was so fun, we learned tons of history about the city and bars.

Don't: Forget to explore outside of the French Quarter. Bywater and Crescent Park are both beautiful. Definitely go to Elizabeth's for brunch!!

Do: Make sure you get a Hurricane from Pat O'brien's and sit in the courtyard, it's so cute! I wish it wasn't our last stop of the weekend...I probably would have gone every day.

Don't: Take pictures and videos of the street entertainers if you aren't willing to tip. They will yell at you.

Do: Make sure you watch the street entertainment, some people have some serious talent! You don't want to miss out.
